How To Register
4X is obliged by law to comply with anti-money laundering legislation, and we must
operate ‘KYC’ – Know Your Customer.
This means that before we can make your international payment, we need to register
you as a customer.
Our registration process is as quick and easy as we can make it. Almost all of it
can be done online, and there is usually no need to send us any personal documents.
The first step is for you to fill in the online registration form,
which is self-explanatory.
Once we receive that, we will perform an electronic ID check on you. The only information
we check is your name, address and date of birth.
Please note, this is not a credit check, nor does it affect your credit rating.
It is simply a ‘footprint’, and uses databases such as the telephone book and the
electoral roll to check that you exist.
If the check is successful, we will contact you by email, usually within 30 minutes,
to send you your 4X Dealer™ user name and password.
If the check is unsuccessful, we will contact you to request some further ID, usually
a copy of your passport or driving licence which will need to be certified.
In both cases, we will also send out a copy of our Terms and Conditions for you to sign and return to us.
Please note that you can perform your currency transaction as soon as you have received
your 4X Dealer™ user name and password, but we cannot release your payment until
we have received the signed Terms and Conditions back in our office.
